According to a news release, the overarching goal is to generate a minimum of $250,000 in revenue for local Black-owned businesses. This initiative seeks to make a meaningful impact on the economic landscape, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and empowerment within the business community. In a statement, the organizers expressed their commitment to fostering positive change. “The goal is to generate a minimum of $250,000 in revenue for local Black-owned businesses during the holiday season.” It underscores the community’s collective effort to make a tangible difference in supporting historically disadvantaged businesses.
